How your donation will be handled
Donors give to allow non-profit organizations to carry out their mission. Therefore, they have the right to have their donations be used efficaciously, as to the purpose of the same donation, efficiently as to the economic handling and equitably as to the various needs, exigencies and requests bound to that.

The Chart of Donation was published in 1999, and is the outcome of the cooperation amongst non-profit professionals, university representatives, Third Sector associations and organizations..
Mr Lorenzo Sacconi, Economics teacher at the University of Trento, guaranteed his support and scientific revision of the project.
The Italian Institute of Donation, founded by field organizations together with bank foundations, was constituted to be an ethical guarantor of the compliance principles reported in the Chart of Donation.
Save Children's Life, in compliance with their private and public members’ excellence decided to adopt the standards reported in the Chart, and to start immediately the certification procedures and admission into the Institute.
Therefore, from May 2006, these guidelines will be binding for all our cooperators, partners, suppliers.
From 19th June 2006, SCL was admitted as Candidate Member to the Institute, and the certification procedures were started
